Insulation started this past week. This is the garage. The rest of the house will have a combination of open and closed cell foam. Kind of boring but necessary! Drywall is next...
Trim guy is putting on the Nichiha fiber cement siding. We ordered it primed and painted it to match the color the brick will eventually be painted. Buff

This is the brick bar on patio which will hold the grill etc.

Stamped concrete and wider view of patio

The outdoor fireplace on covered patio. Wiring is for TV over FP. It will be burning real wood for the pyro!

These are the steps leading from the bottom patio to the covered patio.

Close-up look at the rock retaining wall

Here are the latest views of back patio. They started moving our big rocks to create retaining walls and a lower outdoor patio. The excavator is pretty talented I think to use that big piece of equipment to not only move those big boulders but to stack them just right to form these walls and even some beautiful stairs.

Flag stone is going on my front porch. I am loving it!

Latest picture of the progress with the front of the house.

OOPS! Wrong name of stone. I'm ready to go to bed. It's Tennessee split field stone, drystacked in buff. Porch will be covered in Tennessee verigated flagstone.

Front of house

They have started the stonework on the front of the house. It is a very time consuming task. They are hand chiseling each stone and laying it all by hand. It is drystack Kentucky buff.

Here is a view of the back patio. The columns will be arched brick and will hopefully be completed at the end of this coming week.

back side of house-kitchen window

This is the back window of the kitchen. You can see the color that the entire house will eventually be painted if you look at the chimney in the background. It's Boral Brick Pastelcote buff.

Brick work continues on the garage side of the house.

bricking continues

They are still busy laying brick. They are doing a great job.
